Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 03/21/2002

Number: 1

Saw my first monarch today here in Gillespie County - it never did settle down to nectar but flitted about my peach trees and budding oaks. I will keep my eyes open for more. I am located along the Nixon Creek drainage in the northwest part of the county, not too far from the small community of Doss. Keep up the good work of keeping us all posted!
