Milkweed (FIRST sighted)

Date: 03/27/2002

Number: 1

Today, 3/27/02 is the first warm nice day we have had in a month. I saw my first female monarch slowly moving along the vetch that has just come out and is flowering. Antelope Milkweed is just beginning to peak through the ground. Don't know if this is the beginning of the Monarch Migration or not in East Texas.
Let's hope the weather holds and we get some of the migration.
