Night hawks over rural Madoc....While sitting out by the fire watching the sap boil last night (mar.27) we could hear a nighthawk calling over the pond area behind the house. The return of the nighthawk is always a sign of spring. We have received over 15 cm of snow on Tuesday, but the weather today was beautiful- warm spring sun, hgih of +5C and of course, an almost full moon tonight.
