Robin (WAVE seen)

Date: 03/08/2002

Number: 1

It was about three weeks ago, March 8 or so, the Robins all seemed to arrive at once although we didn't see them in a flock or anything... lots of singing and singles flying around looking for food. I saw perhaps three together at one time. We have a feeder and they were in the maple tree next to it along with a couple of Blue jays which I thought was interesting.. they are out on the roadway around the swampy areas as well as in the wooded spots around Moscow Ontario, just north of Kingston. Had a big late winter storm yesterday and 10 cms of snow.. warmed up today and the sun came out late in the afternoon. No longer too cold. They'll be singing again tomorrow morning.
