Big rain strom last night. Sighted perfect monarch today at 11:00am. It was fluttering around the yard and finally left flying over the house towards the northeast.

Second sighting about 10 minutes later. A second monarch flew from the south to the north side of my yard and rested in a hedge. It was gone when I looked back.

(extra note: two doves have returned to the hanging flower basket on the north end of my deck. It has been a annual nest for about five years now.)
