One Monarch, first of the season, sighted at 2:00 PM and remained in my garden until 3:15 PM. The temp was 84 degrees on a calm, sunny day. Its wings were bright and it was nectaring on the blossoms of my grapefruit tree. The other plants in bloom were my roses and my salt bush. The monarchs are late this year and so are the citrus blossoms.
