Dear Journey North,
The tulips have bloomed. There are about 45 tulips and they are big, red, and they look silky. Our weather has been warm and sunny but we are having a drought. We have had only a little rain all winter long. At about 2 o'clock p. m. each day the tulips close up. We think they do this because the sunlight is less because of the earth moving. The soil temperature is 63 degrees. Mrs. Koontz's third grade class
