My favorites are the Orioles and Hummers...last year, was my 1st
with Orioles. I had been trying to entice them into my backyard, for 3
yrs., with orange halves on every fence post, and of course their
favorite, "grape jelly". They finally came last summer 01', nested, and
had 5 babies coming to my feeders on the hour. They came last year on May
15th and left Sept. 3rd. Looking forward to seeing them again this year,
so I have been checking your web sight for flight patterns, re: arrivals.
> My other pleasures are the Raptors, Grossbeaks and so many of the
beautiful songbirds, heading my way. The Bald Eagles never left the Twin
cities this past winter, with the river still open, they had plenty of
food, so they were a magnificent site all winter long.
> I saw my 1st Red-winged Blackbird on Apr.2. - we still have about 4"
of snow on the ground up here, but 60 degrees is forcast for this
weekend, so the "Arial Show" will soon begin.
> I would love to let you know abou
