Monarch Egg (FIRST sighted)

Two monarch females were observed ovipositing on Asclepias viridis shoots at Clinton Community Nature Center between 11am and noon. Twelve eggs were found on the plants; these plants have been monitored closely for the past 9 days and these are the first eggs to be noted at this site.
