Tuesday, the 30th of october 2001, 240 students & their 10 teachers planted 250 bulbs of tulips. 130 of those tulips were Red emperor. Students are 5 to 12 years old. It was cold (2 celcius)and windy but sunny. Baie-Comeau is a 25 000 citizens city located on the north shore of the St-Laurence river at about 400 km north-east of Quebec city.
Today, the 8th of april 2002, we still have 3 feet of snow over our tulips!!!
