Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 03/23/2002

Number: 1

Every since March 23 I have offen seen them flittering, and fluttering around in my live oak's, and hope they will swarm my house again like they did last fall. Maybe they will! Today (4/9/02) I saw from 4-5 Adault monarch floating around in live oak trees near Big Rocky creek. I have seen them for a few days now and think they will keep comeing! The weather is nice, sunny, with slight winds, and it was about 68 degrees out side. But I also have some questions.
Why do the monarchs land on and lay eggs on my friend's milkwead and not mine?AND Will plantin my milkwead help the plant? If you have anwers will you please e-mail me back by typing "tpurvis@wcc.net!"
