after opening the back door to the barn and securing it so the door was open about a foot - a barn swallow flew right in
i stood and watched as the bird looked at the nests from last year and then sat on the wire that connects the lights
there are four nests in the barn - the swallows appear to use the same nests year after year - sometimes building a new nest on top of the prior year's nest
