In Alabama, our 500+ tulip bulbs started blooming about 2 days before our spring break. Thirty class had each planted between 15 and 23 tulip bulbs in a cluster with a diameter of 2 feet. The color was fantastic! Groups of tulips continued to bloom through April 8th. We think this was because they might have been planted a little deeper than the first bloomers.
