I'm totally fascinated with the Ruby-throated hummingbird. Since discovering that we have an abundance of them that come through our area, I find myself getting more involved each year with improving our landscape and feeders in order to provide a "habitat" for them. I also have a science background (a Bachelor's in Chemistry) so I find myself searching out more information about these birds and hope to attend a banding workshop this year.
