The dogwoods in our area are coming into full bloom. Their leaves are about 1 inch long. They are very pretty trees. The edges of the woods around here are full of white blossoms from the dogwoods and pink blossoms from redbuds. It is just beautiful here in spring. We saw lots of dogwoods while walking around our baseball field at school. We picked a few blooms for our classroom and noticed that they have a little purple on each petal.
