Spring has sprung rather suddenly here. On SAturday at 7.30am, i
heard my first Robin in full-throated song in the neighbourhood across from my appartment (Fort Garry Winnipeg). It sang from atop a still leafless tree.
Since then i have heard several others in full voice obviously
establishing territory in my neighbourhood and in and around St Vital PArk (nearby) where i bird. There are scores of robins around at the moment and many of them are vocalising (but not necessarily singing)
