Sighted emerging stalks and first leaves on plants 4-7 inches high while cultivating class butterfly garden. In the past two years we have not seen milkweed that could be used to sustain larva until the last days of April. Have requsted larva for May 1st as that has seemed the earliest secure date in my experience, until now!
