Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 04/18/2002

Number: 1

When I saw the monarch, the weather was warm (about 80 F), breezy, and partly cloudy. The butterfly was both flying and nectaring.

We don't have any milkweed in our yard of which I'm aware, but we do have plenty of flowers. However, others in the area have reported watching Monarchs laying eggs on milkweed, so it must be up!
