Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 04/17/2002

Number: 1

I sighted a monarch about 2:oo p.m. in the afternoon. It was approximately 85' and sunny. She was flying around where my common milkweeds are planted. The plants were just beginning to pop through the ground. My hope is she was able to lay some eggs. I also saw her the next day. There were plenty of nectar plants for her.
