Small adult monarch. It had not just emerged but appeared to have
had a rough time.
The weather is so irregular. Hot and Dry.

Have not located milkweed as of yet. Been looking. The monarchs did come before the milkweed and those I saw were smaller (assuming sometimes conditions might limit them).
