We actually missed the first sighting since it occurred on a Saturday (I think, based on how the tulips looked on Monday.) Monday the kids and the neighboring businesses were all out "oohing" and "ahing" over the beautiful display! They were GREAT! All gone now since we had 3 90+ degree days in a row - but the memory lives on.
