Bald Eagle

Number: 1

4pm One of the parents to be leaves the nest. We don't see the transfer. They head toward the beach. Then we see a stranger light out of a near by pine and follow. We could not get a good look at this mysterious newcomer but it could very well be a juvenile from the area. The right size and coloring. We may never know.

6pm Sighting in the tree at the beach. Don't know who is looking for dinner.

6:15pm Must be Harriet at the beach. She flies straight into the nest and settles immediately. Only a mom would know the nest well enough to do that.

6:45pm Ozzie is at the top of the nest tree then lights out south toward the salmon hatchery.
