A monarch was sighted at the Eastern Shore of Virginia National Wildlife Refuge on Thursday, April 18 at 9am. Winds were from
the SW at 10mph and temp was 80 degrees. This was a very faded and worn female. She nectared for about 30 minutes on the blossoms of a few blackberry bushes.
