six mile lake, township of georgian bay, muskoka, ontario
the ice was late on the lake this year and never very safe. snowmobiling was limited. the ice was honeycombed because of the thawing in january and then the cold. even with the milder weather this winter the ice is late going out.
the hot sunny weather of +32c on april 15 melted the final ice flows by evening.
