I first saw the milkweed up on 4/19/02. IT was in the 80's last week and the milk weed is about 4 inches tall. This week it has become very cold lows at night are in the 30's and the day temp are in the upper 50's, quite a change from last week. Will keep on the lookout for monarchs. Last year first eggs here were found around the 15th of May.
