Hummingbird, Ruby-throated (FIRST)

Date: 04/28/2002

Number: 1

Wind was blowing in excess of 45 miles an hour from the southwest. I have 4 hummingbird feeders up and he went to the oriole feeder at 5:30 P.M. and drank for about 5 minutes and buzzed my brittany spaniel and headed towards the woods. Hope to see him tonight when I get home from work. My sister and I live next to each other and we have a contest every year to see who spots the first one. It was a much welcome sighting.
