We
finally saw our first hummers yestaerday, May 1, 2002. There had been a
long stretch of clear weather, but yesterday we got some clouds. Perhaps
that is it. The birds had been in Juneau since April 15 and it was puzzling
that they hadn't gotten here. But it may have been the weather.
