I neglected to report "feeder up" it was 18 April (normally I put it up 25 April) - earlier than normal due to "earlier than normal reports" of sightings?????
Expected to see the hummers yesterday or the day before, but due to the strong north winds - 35 to 40 mph I expect they decided to wait for more favorable winds before crossing Lake Ontario from about Rochester (about 34 miles). First arrived 0845 4 May 2002.
