I had some oranges that seemed a bit dried out and thought I would cut them up and put them out for the "birds" not knowing that they would attract Baltimore Orioles. One morning while enjoying a cup of coffee, I looked out my window to behold a beautiful sight. There was a male Baltimore Oriole eating from the oranges. At the time I didn't know what kind of bird it was and looked it up in my bird book. He sings his song every morning and seems to be looking for a mate. I continue to put out oranges for him--he eats a lot and is at the feeder all during the day.
