April 30th seemed to be the big day when the robins started to sing. Then on Wednesday there was a blast of arctic air and the temperature dropped back again to -15C. By Sunday May 4 I started to hear robins singing again and also my first Dark-eyed Junco. They are singing constantly now (May 11)and started
at 4:15 this morning (still dim but not dark). (A Northern Observation Post Report)
