We had something unusual happen in our garden. Late last week (around May 8) we had one very tall purple tulip blooming in our International Tulip Garden. All of the petals had already fallen off our Red Emperor tulips, so this purple one is standing all alone in the middle of our garden. Now we know why that one didn't bloom when the others did! Did anyone else accidentally get different colored tulips in their gardens?
