This morning (May 18) we had our first Common Loon at camp. This is very late for us but it has been exceptionally cool this spring. Everything is quite late. Last year was May 3 and we have had them as early as April 15. Still no Barn Swallows, Orioles or Monarchs. It is snowing right now!!!!!! (A Northern Observation Post Report)
