Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 05/20/2002

Number: 1

Today, while at the Lake Red Rock Visitor Center, I observed two beautiful, bright Monarchs flying around the blooming lilac bushes. Their wings appeared to be in excellent condition. These are the first two Monarchs I've seen this year plus I counted nine eggs on five milkweed plants!
