Two students reported seeing 2 monarch butterflies in their trees at their homes. One appeared to have survived the winter in Mexico since it looked faded. The other could not be determined as a returning survivor or a new adult. We'll keep our eyes open, but we haven't noticed too much so far. Our days and nights have been rather cool.
