Anna sighted a fresh looking Monarch fluttering around the lower branches of a tree in her front yard. The monarch was fighting strong winds and was finally blown away by a gust of wind. She could not tell if it was a male or female. We we were having winds of 25-35 miles out of the south-southwest.The temperature was in the lower 70's. Her sighting was at 3:30 p.m. Her mother confirms the sighting. Thanks!
