Found (3) first instar caterpillars on milkweed collected to feed our classroom caterpillars. Returned to the site to search more throughly and found (1) more. Milkweed was heavily infested with aphids, ants, ladybugs, and earwigs. Fear that any other may have fallen prey to other insects. But, will keep looking!
