When we saw the monarch it was flying east at about 11:30 AM. It was cloudy and windy; temperature was about 70 degrees F. The milkweed
we've seen is as tall as 12 inches now. In our yard we also have some butterfly weed (Asclepias tuberosa) plants -- those are about 10" tall.
