I think the monarch was looking for milkweed to lay eggs, but I'm not sure. It was fluttering around, near the ground, on a small bluff prairie. I haven't actually seen any milkweed there, but I'm sure it must be up, because it has come up (barely), in my garden up here, in St Paul, MN. The weather conditions in Praag, was about 80, humid, sunny, and not windy at all.
