First monarch sighting for me at about 2 pm. It was fairly high, flying just over the rooftop of my house so I could not note much as far as wing condition, etc. It was sunny and 85 degrees, south wind at 5-10 mph. With similar temps predicted in the high 80's tomorrow and Friday, I hope see a few more. The swamp milkweed on the edge of our pond is now 8 cm high.
