Arriving from Beaver Island. Monarchs are coming in at the Seul Choix Pointe Lighthouse today. I sighted 3 in just a short visit. What a sight for sore eyes. We were concerned because of the weather, slow migration and the die off in their wintering grounds.
I have become a tour guide at the Lighthouse and have discovered they keep a daily log. They chart sightings. I will be able to keep a much closer eye out for information concerning migrants.
