The first monarch was spotted on May 30 at Peninsula Point by Gina Badgett a volunteer for the Monarch Butterfly Research Project. Today she states there are many in the area, nectaring on dandelions. Peninsula Point islocated at N45° 40.633' W86° 57.898' Reported by C. J. Meitner
