On Saturday, I was a beautiful day in Big Traverse Bay, near Louis Point on the shore of Lake Superior,(sunny near 80 degrees with a wind from the southwest) We saw three Monarchs; two together and one flying alone. They were all brightly colored indicating that they are this seasons butterflies. My parents will continue to watch for more...and will let me know.
