I still have not any sightings of monarch butterflies. There have been a few yellow tiger swallowtails. The milkweed is up to two or three feet and is showing large buds. I am afraid the land owners are gowing to mow them down again like last year just as the monarchs arrive.They are in farm fields on edges of fields. They are along roads and at corners where wild weeds grow. Cat tails are left standing at some spots with the milkweed cut down. What can I do or how can I stop this practise of cutting down the milkweed.When will the monarchs arrive in my area? Teddie
