I saw my first Maine Monarch! I saw mine today in Mechanic Falls, ME, between Auburn, ME and Poland Springs, ME, on Rte 11. It was flying across the road and almost hit my windshield! The milkweed is coming up all around the edge of our property, so it's out there for snack time.................I have yet to see an actual egg in the field, and hope that this will be the year!
