I want to share the fact that I have NOT sighted a monarch in any stage of its life yet in the Omaha area. I see very few reports of any with your data. I have a stand of milkweed as tall as I am in my yard but there are no signs of any monarchs. I checked today in an area I used to get eggs and larva from and found no evidence of any there either . In a trip across Nebraska into Colorado I saw none either. However a friend that travels I 80 to near Des Moines, IA said she did see several there. I am alarmed by the lack of them here and hope they will repopulate the area.
