Bald Eagle

Date: 06/22/2002

Number: 1

Saw Bald Eagle sitting on a branch of a tree along the Spokane River. He/She looked as if he had just finished diving in river, head was wet, looked a little dirty. About 3/4 hour later upon returning down the Centennial Trail we again saw an Eagle(could have been the same one, don't know) on a different tree in nest. Then observed one baby Eagle, looked to be about 12 inches in height, hard to tell though as we didn't see how deep the nest was. Plan to go back today and videotape.
