Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 06/14/2002

Number: 1

Just a quick report to say that the first monarch was spotted 18 miles south of here on June 14th (unfortunately, it became a bumper sticker :-( On June 17th I checked several small milkweed patches and found over a dozen eggs, and the first monarch (small and quite faded) in Elliot Lake flew up my driveway and over the hedge on June 20th. These sightings are one month later than last year.
