Monarch (OTHER Observations)

Date: 06/26/2002

Number: 1

WE HAVE MONARCHS.....Can't believe it but maybe this will help track this strage season. For two weeks I have seen what looked like Monarchs. I assumed they were Viceroys but on closer observation they are Monarchs. They I figured they were wedding escapees. Now I have seen eggs and I also found larva (3rd instar)on local asclepias virdi. (antelope horn milkweed)
Have no idea why they are here now, but hope that this helps.
