We have a milkweed plant in our back yard (suburbs) - I've spotted a solitary Monarch flying around our yard and near the milkweed over the past 3 days. I had not seen any caterpillars on the plant (we checked earlier) and assumed that the Monarchs had not made it up north. My daughters and I will continue to check!
