I have been watching my zinnas and cosmos and wildflowers closely for butterflies. In early August, I have lots of different butterflies, many swallowtail, which are beautiful.
On August 9, among the others, I had one Monarch. I know that I will soon have more. Last fall we had trees full. We have plenty of Walnut trees on our land and it is wonderful to see all the Monarchs fill them. I will track the migration as soon as more develop or arrive. I am still looking for my tagging kit which I ordered several weeks ago. I received my books, and pin, but not my kit from Gullivers. Please check on this for me.
